Pastor Dave

Dave is from Wilmington, NC. He went to Roanoke Bible College (now known as Mid-Atlantic Christian University), and graduated in 2006 with a degree in Theology and Counseling. He is a lover of history; primarily Mediterranean History (Greek/Roman) and American. 

Dave has been leading worship for 10 years. Dave also enjoys writing and recording his songs, which are available on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, and other online stores. He regularly performs in various venues and churches around the region. His band leads worship for Best Life Ministries conferences, as well as many other events across the midwest.

He is married to the love of his life, Amanda. Despite is hatred for cats, they have a little runt named Crunchy. Together they have made Dassel their home. This is his 7th year of full-time ministry, and 3rd here at Dassel. Learn more about Dave by @ daveherring.me or daveherringband.com

Pastor Brandt

Brandt is our new Family Minister. He is from Vermont but has spent most of his adult life in MN where he met his wife Jennifer. They have been married for 10 years with two children, Tatiana and Benaiah.

Brandt has been in pastoral and youth ministry in the Midwest over the past seven years. As a current student of Lincoln Christian University, he is pursuing a degree in Practical Ministry. He loves getting to know people in order to minister on a personal level.

The outdoors of MN and its seasons offer a great setting for spending time with his family. He and Jennifer enjoy rock climbing, canoeing, camping, biking, and all the other cliche outdoor activities.

They are excited to be part of Dassel Church of Christ. Family is the first institution of God, and is the most important part of structuring a strong relationship with each other and with God. They look forward to being with the family here in Dassel for many years to come.
