Children
Glad you are here and interested getting your kids connected! There are many churches that do the job of the parent and we do not want to be one of those churches. We want to come along beside you and help you raise your children in the love of the Lord.
Kids of all ages have opportunities to experience this at Dassel Church of Christ. The best way to get your kids plugged into the church is to get plugged in yourself! They will follow your lead and your example.
Throughout the 2011-2012 school year the entire church will be going through the stories of the Bible – from Genesis to Revelation. The classes are simply called ‘The Story’ and are offered for all ages. Below is a brief description of what we offer.
Pre-K
Introduce children to the little stories in God’s big love story with hands-on activities and group participation. Companion to the thirty-one chapters found in The Story for Little Ones, these Bible lessons are formatted around Scripture references, memory verses, and Biblical themes. Activities for small and large groups include reading Scripture together, discussion questions, movement activities, arts and crafts, and activity sheets. There are even parent pages with suggestions for at-home use.
K-3rd Grade
Help early elementary children experience God’s great love by bringing his story to life! Based on the thirty one chapters found in The Story for Children, engaging lessons are formatted around relatable Scripture references, memory verses, and Bible themes. Small and large groups will love the hands-on activities that include reading Scripture together, arts and crafts, and activity sheets. There are even parent pages with suggestions for at-home use.
4th – 5th Grade
Engage elementary-aged children in God’s great love story using characters and events from the Bible! Based on the 31 chapters found in The Story for Kids, these experiential lessons are formatted around Scripture references, memory verses, and Bible themes. Small and large groups will enjoy the hands-on activities that include reading Scripture together, arts and crafts, and activity sheets. There are even parent pages with suggestions for at-home use.
All of these classes take place on Wednesday nights from 630pm – 8:00pm. We have a church dinner at 6:30pm that is completely free for everyone. Classes are immediately following.
At Dassel Church of Christ we feel that worship, discipleship, and service are necessary to experience ‘life to the fullest’ (John 10:10). All groups will have a time of worship, discipleship, and monthly service projects and opportunities.

At Dassel Church of Christ, we are all about being real. You won't find us doing a bunch of traditional stuff that churches do just because...well, they've been doing it for a long time. We are an nondenominational church that is built solely on God’s Word. We don’t follow anything man has created, or try to be something that God hasn’t made the church to be.
