Using the clear text of the New International Version, this rendering of the Bible allows its stories, poems, and teachings to come together in a single, compelling experience. The Story, Teen Edition sweeps you into the unfolding progression of Bible characters and events from Genesis to Revelation. And, like any good story, it is filled with intrigue, drama, conflict, romance, and redemption. By using media, we help teens understand The Story more clearly through experiential learning. We have seen that when teens experience a story, as opposed to it being told or shown to them, they absorb and remember it more thoroughly.
The youth group meets together for worship and media, then splits Jr/Sr high for discussion groups.
All of these classes take place on Wednesday nights from 630pm – 8:00pm. We have a church dinner at 6:30pm that is completely free for everyone. Classes are immediately following.
At Dassel Church of Christ we feel that worship, discipleship, and service are necessary to experience ‘life to the fullest’ (John 10:10). All groups will have a time of worship, discipleship, and monthly service projects and opportunities.
